Things to do in Kırşehir;

First day

On the morning of your first day in Kırşehir, start your day by enjoying a rich Kırşehir breakfast, where you can taste crackling, organic honey and butter at Ağalar Mansion, one of the rare examples of Republican era civil architecture in Kırşehir.

Then, visit the Cacabey Mosque and Madrasa, which was built during the Seljuk period and is the world's first Astronomy and Space Sciences Research Center, to see its unique architecture.

Visit the Kaman Kalehöyük Archeology Museum, which is located on the historical Silk Road, houses a 4,000-year-old cultural heritage, has been excavating for 35 years, and has unearthed more than 2,000 artifacts to date. Enjoy the natural beauty of the Japanese Garden, the largest botanical garden outside of Japan, located next to the Kalehöyük Archeology Museum.

Complete the first day with a dinner of local Kırşehir dishes.

The second day

On your second day, enjoy your breakfast accompanied by the view of Hilla Lake, which has water lilies on it and a thousand and one kinds of fish, as it has a temperature of 19 degrees in summer and winter.

Visiting the Kesikköprü Caravanserai, which stands out with its rich architectural features such as its majestic crown gate, lion figures and pointed arches, on the edge of the Kızılırmak River, and the thirteen-eyed Kesikköprü, right next to the caravanserai, which had great commercial importance in the Seljuk Period. See the traces of history and the beauty of nature at the same time.

Visit the Underground City of Mucur, which was built in the 2nd century for the protection of the people during wars and raids during the Roman period, 7-8 meters below the ground and has 42 rooms. Experience the tranquility of natural beauties in Mucur Seyfe Lake National Park, where 600-700 thousand birds consisting of 167 species, especially flamingos, live.

Complete the day by visiting Kepez Underground City, which draws attention with its architecture and soil structure in two different colors.
